Hi! I’m Leeann Cole
I'm a lifelong resident of Mississauga—born and raised here for the past 51 years. I'm a proud parent of three children, including a son currently attending Lorne Park Secondary School, a daughter working at Dairy Queen in Clarkson while completing her degree, and my eldest daughter, who is a marketing and fitness professional. My family and I are deeply rooted in this community, and I have a personal stake in its future.
My career as a registered nurse in child, adolescent, and adult mental health, as well as general medicine at Trillium Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital, has given me a strong foundation in compassion, crisis management, and care for others. I bring that same dedication to public service.
As an elected school trustee, I was chosen by my peers to serve as Vice-Chair of the Peel District School Board in my first year, and also as Vice-Chair of the Discipline Committee. My work has focused on budget oversight, fiscal responsibility, special education, and supporting families. I successfully brought forward a motion to reinstate the school resource officer program, prioritizing the health and safety of our children.
Now, I'm ready to bring that experience, leadership, and community-first approach to City Council.
